Why your contribution matters

Northeast College Prep (NECP) is a tuition-free public charter school in Northeast Minneapolis. NECP is committed to the belief that all students, regardless of background, flourish when a school’s entire staff deeply believes in the potential and fully commits to the success of each and every one.

Over 90% of NECP's students qualify for free and reduced cost meals. We provide uniforms, snacks, and school supplies for most of our students. We also strive to provide opportunities for field trips that our students might not otherwise experience that enhance both their learning and their enjoyment of school.

As a public charter school in Minnesota, we receive only state funds, unlike traditional districts which have the option of levying local taxes to meet rising costs to operate. Help us continue to narrow the funding and achievement gap and donate today!  

Your donation helps us provide:

• A donation of $30 provides snacks for an entire class for a week.
• A donation of $50 provides three uniform shirts for students.
• A donation of $300 covers the cost of a bus for a field trip.
