More than 50% of college-age students fail to graduate or do not enroll in college at all due to factors such as cost, family obligations, or access to the resources needed to pursue higher education. Nationally, 89% of low-income, first generation students leave college without a degree. Normandale Community College Foundation actively works to create brighter futures for students desiring but struggling to afford a college education.

Normandale Community College is an urban two-year college serving the Twin Cities area. Established in 1968, the college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. More than 15,000 students from diverse backgrounds take courses at the college annually.  The college is a gateway to both occupational careers and four-year colleges and universities.
