Serving seniors & caregivers in the Twin Cities and southwest suburban metro area.

With the rapidly growing senior population and today's busy lifestyles, seniors and their family caregivers are struggling. While seniors are faced with the many difficulties associated with aging, their family members are struggling to find a balance between their work responsibilities, home commitments, and helping their senior loved ones.

The Normandale Center is here to help. A nonprofit organization founded in 1998, The Center provides health education, wellness classes, support groups, loaner adaptive equipment, consultation with our trained staff, respite and other support services.

We strive to:

  • Establish or maintain seniors’ connections with their communities
  • Alleviate isolation
  • Maintain / improve health
  • Extend independence
  • Enhance quality of life

For family caregivers, we strive to:

  • Alleviate caregiver burden
  • Improve caregivers’ capacity to continue in their supportive roles

The Center collaborates with local and regional organizations to extend service effectiveness, outreach, and to maximize limited resources. We continue to seek opportunities to serve more neighbors, teach and learn from others, and stretch ourselves to improve.
