At Nonviolent Peaceforce, we are dedicated to fostering protection and peace, in North Minneapolis and across the globe. Our mission is to provide a beacon of hope and transformation, using nonviolent methods to tackle conflicts and make communities safer. For over 20 years, our organization has been tirelessly working to ensure a world where violence is not the answer but rather, nonviolence serves as the foundation of lasting change.

In North Minneapolis, we've witnessed remarkable transformations through our Community Peacebuilding program. Like Deon, whose journey symbolizes the power of nonviolence. Deon, once the main shooter in his gang, faced a turning point when he refused to retaliate after a friend's shooting. Through training and ongoing support, Deon chose to become a Community Peacebuilder. Since then he's protected hundreds and advocated for peace in his community. Around the world, community peacebuilders and local protection teams are making our communities safer and full of peace.
