Give Where You Live

NENA works arm-in-arm with neighbors and businesses to support and bring resources to our four neighborhoods we all love to call home.

Just in the past year, NENA’s volunteer Board of Directors and committees hosted over 10 small and large events gathering thousands of people to build a stronger neighborhood. NENA's partner organizations distributed over 42,000 pounds of food and supplies to help end food insecurity in Nokomis East. Several homeowners secured NENA home improvement loans, staying in place grants, curb appeal matching grants, and home security rebates helping to preserve our housing stock. We organized neighborhood trash clean-ups, forums, and food truck festivals. NENA has touched 2,000 people to share useful neighborhood information through our website, social media, flyers, and e-news.  And that is not all we do together!
