Keeping Seniors Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic

NE Seniors for Better Living uses professional and volunteer services to help seniors remain in their own homes for as long as possible.  With your help, we can help our neighborhood seniors stay safe, healthy, and independent during this pandemic. Below are just a few services we provide to our participants.

• Transportation for essential medical visits

• Grocery & essential item doorstep delivery

• At-home exercise, wellness & activity booklets

• Home safety checks

• Friendly home visits & phone calls

• Assistance with chores & minor home repairs

• Resource assistance & service coordination

• Evidence-based wellness classes

• Dementia education & caregiver support

NE Seniors coordinates with volunteers, community members, and other nonprofit organizations to create and maintain resources to help seniors overcome barriers to staying in their own homes.  With your help, we can continue to provide these essential services to our participants.

NE Seniors for Better Living helps seniors in East St. Paul, Maplewood & North St. Paul neighborhoods. We aim to help our participants live joyful and fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities. With the pandemic, we have found new and exciting ways to connect with our participants and provide them valuable services.

Our programming is essential for many who spend much of their time close to home, due to being high risk for COVID-19. We offer volunteer rides, free supplemental groceries, at-home health & wellness activities, and other helpful services.

NE Seniors for Better Living is a member of the Living at Home Network. For over thirty years, the Living At Home Network has been the resource center that supports the non-profit, community-owned Living at Home/Block Nurse Programs that help Minnesota's elders stay healthy, safe and independent while living in their own homes.
