Natural Science Academy

Natural Science Academy provides an immersive educational experience that focuses on  student‐centered teaching and learning, a nature immersion program, and an early start to science literacy.

We welcome students, guests, and staff to create a culture of belonging and common purpose. 

We demonstrate an awareness of our own connections to natural systems. This includes encouraging responsible behaviors toward non‐human organisms and the natural world and solving problems with both human and natural systems in mind.

Our approach combines some of the nature-inclusive and child-centered methodologies of Montessori, Waldorf, and Emilia-Reggio as well as elements of Finnish education.
