Mount Olivet Lutheran Church

Mount Olivet Lutheran Church was founded on January 11, 1920, and has grown to become one of the largest Lutheran congregations in the country, with more than 15,000 baptized members across two campuses in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Victoria, Minnesota.

Our church emphasizes vibrant worship characterized by exceptional music and strong preaching. Our ministries include opportunities for spiritual growth, community service, and engagement for all ages. Highlights include:

• Music Ministry: Programs for children, youth, and adults, including 13 choirs and the School of Music & the Arts (MOSOMA). FIKA music
• Congregational Care: Counseling Center, prayer ministries, and support for life events.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Partnerships with local and global outreach initiatives, such as feeding programs and community service projects.
• Programs for Families: Sunday School, nursery services, and youth camps and activities.
• Affiliate Ministries: Cathedral of the Pines Camp, Mount Olivet Home and Careview Home, Mount Olivet Day Services, Mount Olivet Conference and Retreat Center, Mount Olivet Rolling Acres.

The church is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and remains committed to being a welcoming, inclusive community that embodies God’s love through its many missions and activities
