Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists

Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists is a volunteer-driven, membership based nonprofit organization.  Our volunteers maintain over 100 miles of off-road bicycling trails in the greater Twin Cities area, from Eagan to Monticello, from Waconia to Woodbury.  We partner with local land managers and other stakeholders to develop community assets, and then protect and extend those assets with a large network of dedicated trail volunteers.  Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists believes that building off-road cycling trails builds better, more engaged, communities and we are proud of our mission and our 20-year track record of success.

Celebrating our 25th year of successful advocacy and trail building in 2019, we are each year more and more a victim of our own success.  Frankly, the riders who use and enjoy the trails we steward vastly outnumber our contributor and volunteer base - even the resources of our land manager partners!  As the popularity of our trails -and our sport- continues to grow, trail maintenance becomes more and more important.  We currently face a backlog of maintenance tasks – a backlog that stands in the way of more (read: new) trail.

All of our work is performed by dedicated volunteers, but the tools, materials, insurance, equipment rental and a thousand other necessary items all cost money.  Your support will help us make strategic investments that will ease the maintenance backlog and allow us to plan and develop new mountain bike trails in our service area.
