"DI is the best thing you will ever do for your child’s education, as well as for helping to shape their future as an innovator and leader." Melissa Dick, Parent & Team Manager

Minnesota Destination Imagination (MN DI) changes lives by engaging participants in project-based challenges that are designed to build confidence and develop extraordinary creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. The Challenge Experience is our flagship program for pre-K, K-12 and university students. Teams develop solutions to project-based STEAM challenges and then present their solutions live at tournaments. Teams gather between September and January and choose one of seven STEAM Challenges to solve - Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Engineering, Service Learning and Early Learning. Schools, community organizations, faith communities, neighborhoods - anyone can do DI!

If your child is creative, is crazy about puzzles, loves to paint and draw, can build anything out of cardboard boxes, writes amazing stories, thinks up whimsical new worlds, is totally into science, or has rewired your toaster into a working time machine (or wants to), then you may have a Destination Imagination child.
