At Manna Market, we bridge the food waste gap by rescuing quality, unsold food, and distributing it to those facing food insecurity. As a faith-based food recovery program, we nourish the local community with quality food and opportunities to grow in faith while participating or volunteering at Manna Market.

Your donation matters:

• $200 will buy 11,764 lbs. of fresh produce to be distributed
• $100 will feed a family of 4 for 29 of days
• $75 will provide fuel to rescue 20,000 lbs. of food from restaurants and grocery stores each week
• $65 pays for a 32,000 lb. truckload of food staples from Second Harvest Heartland
• $25 will pay for 49 crates of produce to be saved from going to landfill

Faith-Driven Food Recovery Manna Market was founded in 2008 by Youthway Ministries to provide food at community gatherings sponsored by faith-based organizations. Manna’s founder, Forrest Gregory, initially began volunteering at a local food shelf, where he would collect and deliver food to individuals living in a local trailer park. It was there that he began to hear stories of the people who received the food. He quickly became aware of the immense need that existed in his own community and began increasing the days he delivered food.

More and more people are experiencing an increased need for our services due to inflation and economic insecurity, among the demographics we serve, particularly among already strained low-income families. Growing need has led us to expand our operations and find creative ways to expand capacity. Our services provide consistent access to healthy food for low-income individuals and families, while offering dignified support.
