Together we can make a WORLD of Difference!

We are all missioners - from young children to young adults to the sages in our community, from the materially poor to the poor in spirit, from those who spend a lifetime overseas to those who never leave their hometown.  It is our goal to connect the people of central Minnesota to others all over the world.  We strive to help our faith communities recognize our inter-connectedness and the call to mission and global solidarity that we as Catholics have by nature of our baptism. 

We carry the responsibility of promoting the global outreach of the Catholic Diocese of St. Cloud, MN.  We do this in a number of ways, including programs of the Pontifical Mission Societies and Catholic Relief Services, as well as our Global Solidarity Partnerships with the Dioceses of Homa Bay, Kenya and Maracay, Venezuela. The overall goal of the office is to engage as many people as possible in global solidarity.  The office serves as a conduit for both people and monetary exchanges.  We reach out to and learn from the overseas missioners from our diocese as well as the numerous relationships we have with communities around the world. We encourage and support mission education in our schools and Faith Formation programs, the World Mission Rosary, sister parish/faith community relationships, the Missionary Cooperation Plan, Fair/Ethical Trade, sharing Mass stipends and prayers throughout the world, mission group activities and the encouragement of mission vocations.

Thousands have been touched by the projects that our missioners do around the world with the generous support of people like you.  And thousands more have been touched through their interaction and relationship-building as they welcome missioners and delegates from all walks of life.  Your help makes these life-changing activities possible, and brings us closer to living out the Kingdom of unity in diversity here on Earth!
