Minnewashta Elementary PTO and YOU!

Together we can make a difference!

The Minnewashta PTO strives to enhance each student’s educational experience by sponsoring special events and enrichment programs, as well as providing supplemental funding to the teachers and staff at our school. Our goal is to create a sense of community and enhance the home-to-school connection. This is made possible through our dedicated parent volunteers and because of your loyal support of our fundraising efforts throughout the year. 

We hope you will consider contributing to the success of our GREAT school on Give to the Max Day as well as through the many volunteer opportunities available to you.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the PTO Board to discuss how you'd like to get involved.  And remember...by being a parent or guardian of a student at Minnewashta you are already a member of the Minnewashta Elementary PTO. 

We are always looking for better ways to raise funds to enable the PTO to support the many great programs we provide to our students.  We know that selling merchandise is not for everyone!  If we can prove these direct donation methods successful then hopefully we can steer away from some of the selling.  Let us know what you think!

OUR PURPOSE:

To promote and enrich the education, welfare and cultural awareness of Minnewashta Elementary School students through educational programs and volunteer resources.

To provide a social community for the Minnewashta student body and their families.

To promote Minnewashta school activities, open communication and cooperation among teachers, parents, the district and the community.

To act as a not-for-profit fundraising body providing financial support in those areas where additional assistance may be needed to improve the quality of education for Minnewashta students.

To offer services and supportive projects which enhance the elementary school experience for Minnewashta students.
