The Minnesota Boat Club's mission is to promote health and excellence through the sport of rowing.

The Minnesota Boat Club, founded in 1870, is the State's oldest amateur athletic organization. Our mission is to promote health and excellence through the sport of rowing for people of all ages.

Located on the shores of Raspberry Island and surrounded by the Mississippi river, the Minnesota Boat Club offers its members a truly unique setting. Centrally located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, visiting the clubhouse is very convenient. Once there, members can enjoy the city-scapes of downtown Saint Paul or escape to the natural beauty and wildlife of the Mississippi river valley.

We are a nonprofit 501c3, volunteer run club who, with a group of dedicated coaches, is helping people of all ages achieve their athletic goals. Many of our Junior rowers end up receiving a college scholarship should they choose to continue in this life long sport.
