With your support...

• We can put more Garden-in-a-Box kits directly in the hands of hard-working service organizations. In 2024, we distributed 953 kits across 47 counties throughout the state. We still had to turn away requests for 170 boxes. Our Program team is getting ready to build this program for next summer, and we don’t want to turn anyone away.
• Our Minnesota Green program can continue distributing over 60,000 donated plants and seeds from nurseries and wholesalers to public and community gardens, helping beautify and feed neighborhoods across the state. 
• We can find more gardening and horticulture experts to contribute to Northern Gardener magazine, our #1 favorite member benefit. This is a zone-specific, award-winning publication edited exclusively for gardeners in our climate.

• We can develop out our Resource Hub with GIS mapping technology to connect our services with gardeners based on where they live. Gardeners are looking for a reliable, trusted source of gardening information. We provide that—just for gardeners in our climate.

• We can offer more low-cost or free-of-charge classes on various gardening topics. We're also aiming to translate our popular webinar series for new growers into multiple languages to lower barriers and support access for many people learning to grow in a new environment.
