Minnesota Ballet Theatre is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) performing art-educational dance company established to instill a greater esteem for Dance and the Performing Arts through Classical Ballets Masterpieces and Contemporary works. And provide culture, music, and dance education for the Twin Cities area
with the intent to prepare dancers of all ages to perform in professional productions.

Founded in 2014 by Svetlana Gavrilova and Kirill Bak-Stepanoff, both graduates of Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. 

First performance happened in December 2018. Company's debut the Nutcracker is authentically Russian classical version set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, performance is faithful to the original Marius Petipa choreography. 

To keep community engage with Arts of Dance Minnesota Ballet Theatre annually provide free Nutcracker tickets for Minnesota Cancer foundation,
Veteran Ticks, St. Paul Children Hospital.

Minnesota Ballet Theatre seeks to share the joy of dance, as well as to enhance a position as a first class dance company, while being committed to artistic excellence and innovation.

As non-profit company Minnesota Ballet Theatre relies on the generosity, loyalty and financial support of our donors. Every dollar contributed makes a difference to help us present the finest repertoire, to the widest possible audience.
