Empower life-changing breakthroughs and compassionate care by joining forces with fellow supporters.

Giving from Minnesota Masons & Stars is why Minnesota Masonic Charities exists today. Today, we ask that you support our Heritage Partners: Masonic Cancer Center, Masonic Children Hospital, and the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain.

When you contribute to Minnesota Masonic Charities, your donation becomes a catalyst, amplifying its impact through a collective commitment to transformative research and compassionate care.

The Masonic Memorial Hospital Fund was founded in 1955 to provide funds to construct a hospital in partnership with the University of Minnesota. In April 2008, Minnesota Masonic Charities presented the University of Minnesota with an extraordinary gift of $65 million—the most significant gift ever made to the University—to seek a cure for cancer.

In 2014, Minnesota Masonic Charities pledged $25 million to the University's children's hospital, bringing their total University giving to $160 million. The hospital was renamed the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital in honor of this milestone.

In 2020, The University of Minnesota announced a $35 million gift from Minnesota Masonic Charities. This contribution established the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, an interdisciplinary initiative focused on the early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders in early childhood and adolescence.
