Did you know human trafficking is a 150 billion per year industry which is the same as the annual revenue of Costco? It's happening right here in our great state of Minnesota. The FBI has identified the Twin Cities as 1 of 13 U.S. cities with high incidents of child prostitution. But human trafficking goes beyond the Twin Cities. Every single county in Minnesota has reported incidents of human trafficking. Further, the average age of those entering prostitution in Minnesota is 13. Let that sink in.... 

Minnesota Good Works invites you to become part of the solution and join our mission to support exploited/trafficking survivors. We are a 501(c)3 organization who work with exploited/trafficking survivors to find the long term care they need  through our Enrichment Program which is a two year mentorship program aimed to provide the hope and healing survivors need to find a sustainable path forward. That support happens through mentorship, resources, and care that empowers exploited/trafficking survivors to become strong and resilient so they can achieve a life of independence, purpose, hope, and transformation.

Here's what one of our mentors in our Enrichment Program recently wrote:

"For the past six months, I have been personally mentoring (Jane Doe) who is a trafficking survivor through Minnesota Good Works’ (MGW) Enrichment Program. I’ve seen robust results in my first six months. (Jane Doe) not only has the drive to better herself, but to improve the lives of others. Together, we have built a customized, time-bound growth plan which encompasses actionable steps to continue improving the mental, emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual areas of (Jane Doe’s) life. I can personally testify to this growth. (Jane Doe) meets with me at least once per month while communicating weekly to check-in. She invites wise counsel into challenging situations, has built healthy, fulfilling relationships, is respectful, and completes what she commits to do. (Jane Doe) has a heart filled with compassion, a gentle voice, overwhelming joy, and a patient spirit. She has built healthy structures, sought professional counseling, voluntarily joined the MGW Enrichment Program, and is on a continued path of success."
