The overwhelming influence of big money in politics, widespread voter suppression, and election disinformation are threatening the foundation of fair elections and inclusive representation. - Big Money's Stranglehold: Billionaires like Elon Musk, crypto oligarchs and dark money are drowning out the voices of everyday voters,  overwhelmingly tilting policies to benefit the wealthy.

- Eroding Trust: Disinformation divides communities and undermines confidence in election results by voters, regardless of party affiliation. The stability of democracy depends on public belief in the legitimacy of elections.  

- Attacks on Voting Rights: The Supreme Court’s ongoing gutting of the Voting Rights Act has emboldened states to roll back voter protections, purge voter rolls, and draw gerrymandered districts. To safeguard democracy, we must remain vigilant in Minnesota.

- Threats to Future Elections: Project 2025 if enacted, would expand executive power and dismantle critical election systems, jeopardizing the integrity of future elections.

Minnesota is leading the way with strong voter protections and electoral and campaign finance reforms. But this progress is fragile. We need to act now to defend it and continue to set a standard for the nation.
