Minnesota Boychoir

During a recent board meeting, a board member said it best: “The real stuff of the Minnesota Boychoir is what happens behind the scenes in rehearsals, backstage at concerts, and during weekend retreats and tours.” Yes, the Boychoir has earned broad respect and recognition for excellence in choral music, but that excellence starts with the core values instilled in our singers before those amazing performances even hit the stage. 

Minnesota Boychoir singers are challenged to be their best selves in all aspects of their lives. To show up, be prepared, and be fully present for their fellow choir members at rehearsals. To show respect and care for staff, volunteers, audience members, and the community. And to give back by mentoring younger choirboys and participating in service projects. 

Each generation of choirboys sets an example for the ones that follow, and that is the Minnesota Boychoir story.

Of course none of this is possible without the partnership and support of our community: our audiences, our artistic collaborators, and our donors. You make us better at every turn.
