Founded 1965, Minnesota Ballet offers audiences an eclectic repertoire of vibrant new versions of classic works, faithful interpretations of masterpieces by legendary artists, groundbreaking original works, and new commissions from established and emerging choreographers in a range of dance styles. Through our annual tours and outreach programs, Minnesota Ballet brings world-class professional dance to audiences who otherwise would not be able to experience it, building awareness and appreciation of this classic art form. 

Minnesota Ballet Academy provides ballet and other dance classes for children and young people, ages 3 and up, as well as adults. Our professional faculty focuses on providing an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment where we emphasize training with a positive approach. 

Studio Four is Minnesota Ballet’s new dynamic event space, fully equipped as both a dance studio and 110-seat theater. Studio Four provides a sophisticated and intimate setting for Minnesota Ballet’s cutting-edge repertoire such as Poe, an original work by Artistic Director Karl von Rabenau, presented in October 2023:
