The Minnesota Technology  Foundation is looking to strengthen Minnesota’s economic environment by promoting interest in STEM careers.

The vision of the Minnesota Technology  Foundation is to accelerate growth, innovation, and the development of a strong, inclusive tech ecosystem in Minnesota .

We know that Minnesota is suffering from a science and tech workforce shortage that has severe negative implications for our local business and statewide economy, especially in future years.

But in this challenge comes a great opportunity to build top talent, and that’s why the Minnesota Technology Foundation is working to fuel and foster a thriving STEM workforce in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Technology Foundation is supporting students through our STEM scholarships and hands-on experience like our Tech Experience Tours, communicating the need for STEM-educated college graduates, and partnering with the local science and technology community to build strong connections and resources. 

One of our STEM initiatives is a scholarship fund, driven by MnTech’s Women Leading in Technology (WLiT) program.  Donations help to offset the cost of tuition at a Twin Cities tech academy for under-represented individuals who aspire to a career in STEM.  Choose “WLiT” to contribute directly to this fund.
