Metro Meals on Wheels

In 2024, Meals on Wheels sites across the Twin Cities delivered nearly 1.7 million meals to 9,844 individuals. This year, the need continues to grow and so do the challenges.

Seniors living on fixed incomes are among those hit hardest by inflation, economic uncertainty, and cuts to safety-net programs. 

Meals on Wheels is also facing challenges as the cost of producing our nutritious meals continues to rise, and both local and federal funding have been reduced. Despite these obstacles, our commitment remains firm: no one should go hungry or feel alone.
