Metro Meals on Wheels

In 2023, Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities served nearly 1.8 million meals to 10,300 individuals. The need continues to grow as inflation has made affording basic living expenses more difficult. Seniors on fixed incomes are struggling with the increased costs of food, bills, and medication. 

They depend on their community to get by, and more individuals are reaching out for help every week. 

Meals on Wheels programs are working hard to ensure that everyone who needs assistance gets hot, fresh meals while volunteers provide consistent check-ins that help seniors feel less lonely.
