Mesabi Humane Society

Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through sheltering, spaying and neutering, adoption and community education.

The Mesabi Humane Society relies on champions like you to help us create a more humane society for animals and people alike. We can’t continue our animal rescue efforts without the support of generous champions like you. We provide animal control services across NE St. Louis County and handle large and small hoarding situations. We take all animals, regardless of age or medical condition. Please consider making a donation to help the animals we rescue, until they find their forever homes. 

We became a non-profit organization in 1978 and our current building was constructed in 1986, so money for repairs and improvements is also needed and welcome.
