Math Masters

Math Masters encourages student interest in math and supports participants and coaches with a fun, competitive atmosphere!

The Math Masters mathematics competition program challenges students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics. Students compete as individuals and on teams in eight rounds of competition held in March and April each year. Students' academic effort and achievement is recognized with plaques, medallions and ribbons in each competition element: Fact Drill, Individual Round and Team Competition.

Since its inception in 1989, Math Masters has welcomed more than 125,000 4th - 6th grade student competitors. Currently more than 5,000 public, private and home school students participate each year in competitions offered at more than 60 in-person sites in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Your financial support allows Math Masters keep registration fees low, provides practice materials to all registered students and directly supports Math Masters in-person 2025 competitions.
