Welcome to the Martin County Preservation Association! We’re a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to preserving our community's history and culture. When you donate, you can feel good knowing your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Let’s talk about the Red Rock Center for the Arts (RRC)! This beautiful venue was built in 1898 by the talented Minnesota architect Harry W. Jones and showcases the beautiful Richardsonian Romanesque style. After a long restoration process with lots of help from our amazing volunteers, Red Rock was dedicated back to the community in 2005. It’s now a popular gathering place where you can enjoy a variety of arts and entertainment opportunities. We invite you to attend a performance, register for a class, take a tour, view the art exhibit, or rent the space for your special occasion—it's perfect for making memories!

Then, there’s the historic Chubb House, which overlooks the picturesque Lake Sisseton. Built in 1867 with bricks made right from the clay found on the banks of Buffalo Lake, this lovely house has so much character! We offer tours of the Chubb House and various special events, and twice a year; it becomes "The SPOT for Tea," where you can step back in time and experience the charm of yesteryear.

The Red Rock Center and the Chubb House are proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We can’t wait to welcome you and share our rich heritage!
