Welcome to the Martin County Preservation Association! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving our community's history and culture. When you donate, you can feel good knowing that your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

First, let’s talk about the Red Rock Center for the Arts (RRC)! This beautiful building was built in 1898 by the talented Minnesota architect Harry W. Jones and showcases the stunning Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style. After a long restoration process, with lots of help from our amazing volunteers, Red Rock reopened its doors to the community in 2005. It has since become a popular gathering place where you can enjoy a variety of arts and entertainment opportunities. We invite you to attend a performance, register for a class, view the art exhibit, take a tour, oror rent the space for your special occasion—it's perfect for making memories!

Additionally, we have the historic Chubb House, which overlooks the picturesque Lake Sisseton. Built in 1867 using bricks made from clay found along the banks of Buffalo Lake, this charming house has so much character! We offer tours of the Chubb House and host various special events. Twice a year, it transforms into "The SPOT for Tea," allowing you to step back in time and experience the charm of yesteryear.

The Red Rock Center and the Chubb House are proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We cannot wait to welcome you and share our rich heritage!
