We're so proud of our library; help us grow and enhance it now and for the future!

"Libraries are the places where the imagination begins."  Heather Barbieri

The Marshall Lyon County Library opened its new facility in November 2011.  Patrons can now enjoy a beautiful one level building with generous parking, a technology classroom, updated computers, and a community meeting room.  Library visits and program attendance have grown considerably.

Our foundation supports the library financially to help it better serve the community.  We invest in projects that go beyond the library's normal operating budget.  Your gift will help the library meet the current and future needs of its patrons.

Phase II, construction of the Robert L. and Phyllis Carr Children's Library, has been completed and opened on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Thanks to the generosity of the Carr's and many other community businesses and individuals, we have an amazing new facility to enhance our children's library experience.  The new addition included a Minnesota author room and outdoor reading court.  Please come and see us!
