The Market Entry Fund

The Market Entry Fund is a nonprofit with a mission to advance equity and inclusion in the local food supply chains. We do this by providing business services, connections, and micro-grants to diverse & emerging packaged food businesses and their founders.

WHAT WE DO

We give in three specific areas.

1) Microgrants: We give small grants to local food manufacturing businesses to get them started by removing an immediate challenge.

2) Market Support: Through community retail (co-retail), our grocery store partner provides retail support and gives 100% of sales proceeds back to the business.

3) Connections: We connect food businesses to other nonprofits and experts so they may leverage other needed resources and services to thrive well beyond us.
