ManForward started 10 years ago as a grassroots led group of mostly Southeast Asian men and masculine folks who knew the importance of creating spaces for men, boys and masculine folks in the communities to explore their feelings, thoughts and fears related to the rigidity of masculinity and manhood in our communities. Since then our work has grown beyond mobilizing locally in the Twin Cities to providing trainings, technical support and doing transformative justice work nationally and internationally.

Mission: Mobilizing a national network of Southeast Asian men and masculine folks to transform patriarchal power systems through direct action organizing, education and collective healing.

Vision: We do not have a vision for the community because our vision is in partnership and oriented to the vision of the collective Queer, Gender Non-Conforming, Trans and gender justice feminists, advocates and organizers in the Southeast Asian Community.

ManForward's vision for men, boys and masculine folks are engaged and committed to queer and gender justice through siblinghood that is actively transforming themselves and social conditions.
