Luther Seminary, located in St. Paul, is a community centered in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a place where theological learning is engaged with heart, mind, and spirit.

Luther Seminary listens to the needs of the 21st century church and responds by sending leaders trained with a deep biblical and missional understanding to lead and serve in God's world. It is rooted in the mission to educate leaders for Christian communities called and sent by the Holy Spirit to witness to salvation through Jesus Christ and to serve in God's world.

Luther Seminary offers resources for lay leaders and clergy alike.  Our digital ministries include:

• GodPause, daily email devotions reaching over 25,000 people
• WorkingPreacher.org, a global preaching resource with over 5 million visits from more than 230 countries and territories in the last year
• Faith+Lead.org, which provides extensive online education to clergy and lay leaders alike!

Tens of thousands of pastors, lay people and church professionals throughout the world use Luther Seminary's online resources each month. Hundreds take part in conferences and continuing education workshops each year.

Luther Seminary is the largest of the seven ELCA seminaries. It educates nearly one-third of pastors and an increasing number of lay professionals in the ELCA, as well as a growing number of non-Lutheran ecumenical leaders. Many global Lutheran churches are Luther Seminary graduates.
