L Etoile Du Nord French Immersion Parent Teacher Organization

The L'Etoile du Nord Parent Teacher Organization (LNFI PTO) supports our students and teachers to make LNFI a school of excellence and fun -- a public school with a global perspective.

The LNFI PTO strengthens and supports educational, enrichment, and extra-curricular opportunities for LNFI students. The PTO is family-funded and all of its work is done by parent-volunteers and teachers.

The LNFI PTO:

1.  Provides 100% of the funding for LNFI's intern program, which brings native French-speaking interns into the classroom to assist teachers.  Interns lower student-to-teacher ratios, increase students' exposure to native accents, and provide a unique cultural experience for students,

2.  Provides resources for students, teachers, and classrooms through direct funds that support classroom and grade-level activities and supplies, and

3.  Plans and staffs social, fundraising, and teacher appreciation events to unite and build the LNFI community. 

Our Give to the Max fundraising goal for the 2024-2025 school year is $10,000 dollars.

The support provided to students by the PTO — the intern program, classroom resources, community building — comes solely from the PTO and not from the school budget.  Your donations make this support happen.  Merci!
