Please support Lionsgate Foundation during Give to the Max; thanks to an anonymous donor, all donations received November 1 through November 21, 2024, will be doubled up to $2,500. Your contribution will directly help improve Lionsgate Academy’s facilities, update technology, enhance student learning, and facilitate teacher initiatives. OUR HISTORY:
Established in 2011 to support Lionsgate Academy, the Lionsgate Foundation also seeks to reach the wider autism education community where possible.

OUR VISION:
The Lionsgate Foundation works to expand opportunities, dissolve barriers and increase belonging between students with autism spectrum disorders, their families and communities.

OUR MISSION:
Our Mission is to support Lionsgate Academy's innovative academic offerings, extra-curricular opportunities, technology needs, best-practice techniques and safe school environment. We also look for ways to expand our support to the wider autism education community.

In the past year, among other projects, the Foundation has funded:

1. Provided stipends to 10 LGA staff who have returned to college to secure licensing to improve their credentials
2. Funded two regulation baskets and backboards for the Shoreview gymnasium
3. Purchased materials and plants for the installation of a sensory garden at Shoreview
4. Funded student memberships to the YMCA for Lynx students who need opportunities to spend time in the community and to engage in physical activities
5. Purchased ice machines and coffee services for staff in all four programs
6. Purchased a laser cutter for the AIM program to increase the number of technology experiences for the students
