Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a partnership of parent volunteers and staff committed to creating an exceptional educational experience for all of our students. The PTO board members are parent/guardian volunteers that meet monthly to hear updates from the principal and teachers, talk about hot topics, as well as to plan upcoming events and fundraisers. Volunteering is a great way to be involved at Lincoln and there are many opportunities and various ways to volunteer! Check out a meeting to find out more!
Our mission is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment and experiences at Lincoln. PTO strives to complement the school’s curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.
We build community within the school with events, including:
· Annual Boo Bash
· Breakfast with Santa
· Carnival / Family Fun Night
· Reception for 5th Grade Graduation
And we support our students and staff by:
· Purchase equipment for classrooms
· Coordinate meals for staff during fall and spring conferences
· Manage Teacher Appreciation Week
We fund our work through:
· Run-A-Thon
· Restaurant Nights
· School Apparel sales
· Boxtops / Labels
