Here Today, Here Tomorrow

Life House works with and provides comprehensive supportive services to young people ages 14 to 24 who may be experiencing unstable housing and navigating life transitions. Our vision is no youth will be left homeless, alone, uncared for, fending for themselves on the streets. We are committed to reconnecting youth to their dreams.

For over 30 years, Life House has been working with youth and young families to become stabilized, heal, and thrive through our programs.

Our four pillar programs include:

  • Drop-in Youth Center: This is the hub of where we connect with youth. We provide meals, hygiene supplies, showers, laundry, independent living skills, activities, and groups.
  • Housing Programs: We have 50 units of supportive housing throughout the community with a case manager staffed onsite. We also provide housing for youth who have experienced sexual exploitation and/or human trafficking in our Sol House and Northern Lights programs.
  • Mental Health & Wellness: Our Wellness team provides no-cost, no insurance needed mental health and wellness services such as diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, recovery support, parenting education, and more. We have Licensed Clinical Social Workers, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Peer Recovery Specialist, Youth Family Advocate, and other team members with a diverse array of skills.
  • Futures Education & Employment: We offer alternative pathways for young people who are pursuing educational credentials, college guidance, job skills training, and employment opportunities.

Life House staff ensure all youth who enter our doors are safe and feel unconditionally accepted, welcomed and nurtured. As an organization, we are committed to fostering multicultural perspectives where our youth feel valued, respected, listened to, and encouraged to explore all the possibilities in their lives.

Together, we can ensure that no young person is left to fend for themselves on the streets and we can provide the opportunity for them to reconnect to their dreams.

Together, with help from supporters like you, we ensure our unstably housed youth are cared for, so no young person is ever left to fend for themselves.

We are deeply grateful for your support of our work!
