Let's Smile Together!

Let's Smile, Inc. is a nonprofit Dental Safety Net Provider based in Owatonna, Minnesota, dedicated to improving children's oral health throughout southern Minnesota. Founded in 2013, Let's Smile was created to address barriers that prevent children and teens from accessing preventive dental care, including transportation challenges, financial limitations, language barriers, and a shortage of dental providers who accept public insurance.

Through school-based dental clinics and the Let's Smile Dental Clinic, the organization brings preventive dental services directly to children where they learn and live. Services include dental screenings, cleanings, fluoride varnish applications, sealants, oral health education, care coordination, and referrals for restorative treatment when needed. Let's Smile serves children and teens ages 0–19 who are enrolled in Medicaid or who are uninsured, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to receiving dental health care.

Today, Let's Smile partners with schools, public health agencies, healthcare organizations, and community groups to improve oral health outcomes and help children establish healthy habits that support lifelong wellness.

Let's Smile, Inc. increases access to clinical preventive dental professional services to children & teens with State/County Insurance: Minnesota Health Care Plans (MHCP) such as MA, South Country Health Alliance, Blue Plus, or uninsured. Through the generosity of our donors, grant partners, and community supporters, Let’s Smile is able to provide these services at no cost to families.

Comprehensive Dental Services: Let’s Smile provides preventive and restorative dental care based on each child’s needs, including exams and screenings, X-rays, cleanings, fluoride varnish, sealants, oral health education, fillings, stainless steel crowns, extractions, and referrals for specialized care when needed.
