A donation to the Learning Law & Democracy Foundation helps educate the next generation of responsible citizens who are equipped to participate in our representative democracy.

There is overwhelming evidence for the need to engage citizens in learning how to better participate in government processes. Divisive governing and elections are eroding our country’s ability to govern itself. Avoid the temptation to throw in the towel. There is something YOU can do about this.

Learning Law and Democracy Foundation is a respected and unbiased resource for middle and high school civics, government, and social studies teachers, primarily in Minnesota, but throughout the country. We also administer a variety of student programs that provide real-world exposure to how a democracy works.  Programs include nationally acclaimed "We the People: the Citizen and the Constitution" and "Project Citizen."

Your generous contribution will:

-Support real-life programs for students that teach about politics, the Constitution, our government. Our State Capitol and other government sites become the classrooms!

-Help students learn how to be part of the solution, not part of the problem! 

-Support new ways to help more teachers, students and members of the public obtain relevant, unbiased, accurate information and lessons on democracy and the U.S. Constitution. 
 
-Join the hundreds who seek materials each and every day on our fast-growing website www.teachingcivics.org 

-Help fill the funding gap in school budgets by supporting costs of student participation and providing scholarships for teachers who are striving to improve their teaching through professional development opportunities.
