LEAD California

For more than 30 years, LEAD California (formerly California Campus Compact) has recognized, inspired and empowered colleges and universities throughout California to push the boundaries of civic engagement and make a difference in people's lives and in the life of the community and the campus.  We lead and support the movement towards a deeper integration of civic and community engagement in higher education through the state by creating innovative programs, partnerships and convenings.  Our mission is to build the collective commitment and capacity of colleges, universities and communities to advance civic community engagement for a healthy, just and democratic society.
