The Landing MN

Homelessness impacts us all, whether we realize it or not. Often, it’s invisible—the barista who serves your coffee in the morning but sleeps in their car at night, or the student sitting next to you who hasn’t been able to change their clothes for days. Sometimes, it’s painfully visible—the person standing on the corner, struggling through a mental health crisis, asking for spare change.

Every day, The Landing MN provides three meals a day, laundry services, shower services, clothing, social services, and medical care. We want our day program to be place, to meet basic needs. Additionally, thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers, staff, and medical volunteers, we strive to be a place where our guests feel valued, safe, and truly heard – sometimes for the first time.

This year, a group made up of the doctors, board members, and development committee members who believe deeply in our mission—have come together to offer a $15,000 matching gift. The Champions of The Landing are more than just donors; they are the backbone of our efforts to provide hope and stability for those experiencing homelessness. Their generous support is a testament to the importance of our work, and we invite you to join them in making a difference.

This gift means that every donation made between November 1st and November 21st will be doubled dollar for dollar up to $15,000. Since opening our day facility in November 2022, the need for our services has grown significantly. We began by serving around 50 individuals each day; now, less than a year later, that number has surged to over 140 individuals daily. While we continue to provide essential services like meals, showers, laundry, and medical care, the heart of our mission is to offer dignity, stability, and hope to those who need it most.
