Kylie's Hope

We are a small non-profit, yet leave a huge impact on the families experiencing prolonged hospitalizations at St. Paul Children's Hospital.

We are Kylie’s Hope. We have been in their shoes. We have walked the long, lonely halls of the hospital. We have watched our child suffer horrible seizures, over and over again. We have spents days, weeks and months on the pediatric epilepsy unit, have been away from our jobs for prolonged periods of time and have faced financial hardship. We started this non-profit to help these families. Your donation will help these families to pay their morgage. To pay their medical bills. To cover a car repair. To buy their children Christmas presents. You may even help them to put food on their table. Many families that stay on the Epilepsy Unit travel to MN from all over the midwest. The travel costs that they may occur can be astronomical. We recently helped cover an expensive car repair for a family, so the dad could continue to travel to St. Paul each weekend, to be with his wife and child.

When there is a family in need, we are contacted by a social worker at Children’s Hospital. We put together a basket for the family, which includes a VISA giftcard, treats for the parents and a toy for the hospitalized child, as well as for each of their siblings. We hand deliver the baskets to each family. The families we meet are humbled and extremely grateful.

Kylie's Hope is also sponsoring the new Family Business Center, located in the new Neuro Science Building at Children’s. This room will be designed as a place for parents and kids to get away from the unit, to update their Caringbridge site, to check email, play games or to call and update their loved ones.

Every August, we put on a charity golf tournament, called "Kylie’s Hope." This is where the bulk of our funding comes from but you can help us do more. Help us reach out and touch the lives of more families. Make a donation today and help us make an impact on the life of a child and their family.
