Founded in 1911, Jewish Family Service of St. Paul (JFS) provides programs and services that help people from all backgrounds build on their strengths and meet life’s challenges. Our work helps people remain healthy and safe as they work toward a better and more secure future. Last year we supported more than 4,300 clients and participants, up from 3,600 only a few years ago.

Through our five interrelated areas of programming, we use a collaborative approach to meet the needs of our community. Our critical work supports Holocaust survivors and Russian and Ukrainian immigrants; helps older clients stay in their homes; supports neighbors who too easily fall through the cracks in government programs and health insurance; and encourages connection within the Jewish community through targeted programs like our Community Chaplaincy and Community Engagement Services. JFS ensures no one is turned away due to economic circumstances.
