Jewfolk, Inc.is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that creates and sustains independent online + in person journalism and engagement hubs in local Jewish communities.

All Jewfolk, Inc. communities inform, connect, engage, and inspire Jewish adults using innovative methods, strategies, and communication. 

Our Vision

We want to live in a world where all Jews find abundant entry points into community, discover meaning and pride in their personal and communal identity, and connect with Jewish life in their own way.

Our Mission

Jewfolk, Inc. maximizes the power of small- and mid-sized communities to serve as welcoming, vibrant homes for Jewish life through independent journalism, strategic engagement, and digital media consulting.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to amplify opportunities for all Jews to discover communal, spiritual, educational, and cultural homes within their local Jewish community, no matter where they live.

We envision a Jewish community that embraces 10,000 ways to be Jewish., offering wide-ranging entry points into Jewish life, fostering meaning and pride in personal and Jewish communal identity, and empowering people to experience Judaism in their own way.

You may know us through one or several of our arms:

  • TC Jewfolk, the Twin Cities’ only independent Jewish online media hub devoted to engaging, informing, and connecting the Twin Cities Jewish community.
  • Minnesota Mammalehs, a group for moms, moms to be, and those who have raised or are raising Jewish children in the Twin Cities with 3.1k members and growing daily.
  • Stories From The Tribe, our live storytelling show and podcast, that tells the real + true stories of local Mammalehs.
  • The Jewfolk Podcast Network, podcasts but make them Jewish, which includes programs like The Jews Are Tired, Who The Folk?!, Not Your Bubbe's Nosh, and Spill the Soup: The Jewish Teen Podcast.
  • JLink, an online community for emerging and established Jewish business professionals in the Twin Cities.
  • JCreate, a group for Jewish artists, craftspeople, and creatives in Minnesota.
  • FolkMedia Consulting, our digital and social media coaching and management service focused on the Jewish community.
