J.J. Hill Montessori School is a public Montessori in Saint Paul, MN. With dedicated Montessori certified teachers and a diverse community of students, J.J. Hill is a wonderfully vibrant place to learn. In our multi age classrooms, children are nurtured as curious learners and become confident leaders. 

The J.J. Hill parent community has always been generous with their support, whether it's in the form of time volunteered in the classroom, helping with the various fundraisers throughout the year, or in the form of financial support. This generosity allows us to support the curriculum with beautiful Montessori classroom materials. It also allows us transport the children to and from museums, nature/environmental centers, theatrical productions and more at no cost to families. It funds wonderful Cultural events at our school as well as the Artists in Residence program. It affords us the opportunity to move the classroom outside in our Peace Garden where the children learn to cultivate the soil, plant and harvest crops each year. All of these things and more provides for a richer, more holistic educational experience for our children.
