HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-­threatening medical condition. We surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.

HopeKids serves families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition and our ongoing program of events give the family something to look forward to. These events allow the entire family to spend quality time together, and with other families like theirs, in a safe and accepting environment--and the events are always free.

Each year, HopeKids Minnesota offers over 500 fun, free events and activities to over 1,600 families. Some events are small and provide families with children who have similar medical conditions to meet, share resources and build friendships. Other events are big, high-profile and build anticipation for the future. Combined, these events provide a powerful, unique support community and much-needed distraction to the everyday challenges and uncertainties our families face.
