HopeKids Minnesota

HopeKids provides ongoing events and activities for families who have a child with a life-threatening medical condition.

Through October, HopeKids Minnesota has welcomed 157 new families in 2024, currently serving 1,672 families. Our mission is to provide ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-­threatening medical condition. We surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.

HopeKids' ongoing program of events gives the family something to look forward to. These events allow the entire family to spend quality time together, and with other families like theirs, in a safe and accepting environment--and the events are always free.

Each year, HopeKids Minnesota offers over 500 fun, free events and activities to over 1,600 families. Some events are small and provide families with children who have similar medical conditions to meet, share resources and build friendships. Other events are big (200 - 1,500 people), high-profile and build anticipation for the future. Combined, these events provide a powerful, unique support community and much-needed distraction to the everyday challenges and uncertainties our families face.
