You can RAISE HOPE for people in Southern MN today! HOPE Ranch is leading the way to combat mental health challenges through animal-assisted psychotherapy. 

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a treatment modality in which horses are part of the treatment team: a licensed psychotherapist, a horse professional, and at least one horse. EAP addresses a variety of mental health and human needs including behavioral issues, ADHD, PTSD, ASD, substance abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship problems and communication needs. We also offer cat and dog assisted therapy. Our clientele is mostly women and children with mental health challenges. In addition they may have physical and development disabilities, and unique medical issues. We currently hold 35 sessions a week, serving 80 clients, many who become long-term clients due to their severe needs.

We also offer experiential activities with HOPE Ranch focused on leadership, team building, and problem solving, among many other topics. We work with people who want to increase effectiveness and productivity. We utilize the unique ability of horses to reflect team dynamics and create opportunities for strengthening communication and problem-solving. All sessions are tailored specifically for the customer. In addition to our current programming, our long-range goal is to incorporate a non-profit, tax exempt horse rescue.
