We are the Talons, a relatively small robotics team based out of the icy tundra that is Hermantown, MN. In a town that is known almost solely for its superiority in high school hockey, that produces more NHL players per capita than anywhere in the U.S., and where kids skate before they can walk, other programs have to fight to cleave the attention of the community away from the hockey teams. In addition, the state of Minnesota is ranked last (50th) in computer science education, and up until recently, robotics was one of the most underdeveloped programs at our school. Despite all this, our robotics’ programs are growing more than ever before, we are doing more for the community than we ever have, and we are striving to become the best version of the Talons that we can be. Our team has had a greater widespread impact in the last three years than in the team’s entire 10-year history.  We are proud to announce that we just won the Northern Lights Regional Competition AND the Prestigious Double Deccer.  We are excited to clinch our spot in the 2024 MSHSL Robotics State tournament for 2024.  We need your support to continue to grow and sustain our robotics program!
