Give to the Max Day 2024: We are thrilled to focus this year's Give to the Max Day on our classrooms! We are so lucky to have spacious, sun-filled classrooms, and funds raised during this campaign will help us invest in tools, structures and other items that will offer more space and additional learning opportunities in our classroom environments. We will work with Heartwood admin and our amazing guides to figure out what is needed in each individual room.

Heartwood Montessori is an inclusive community where children 16 months-6 years old are allowed to learn and explore at their own pace. Heartwood provides a welcoming toddler and preschool environment with beautiful materials that offer the child an opportunity to “learn by doing.” These carefully chosen materials help the child to build independence and feel success in their work. Our experienced educators are passionate about supporting each child on their individual journey. 

At Heartwood, children foster independence, build community, and become empowered by their work. By using time-tested, child-centered Montessori methods, we instill in them a spirit of grace, courtesy, helpfulness, compassion, and motivated action. They develop the same skills, attributes, and confidence that we proudly exhibit as Northeasters ourselves.
