Heart of the City Ministries

Since 1996, Heart of the City has brought thousands of Christians together across the racial and denominational lines that separate us on Sunday mornings. Many congregations and individual Christians have caught a vision to reach out across racial lines in their communities and churches and to partner with other Christians around them. We have also had the opportunity to share the Gospel with many individuals through several evangelistic outreach services in urban and rural areas. And starting in 2018, we began to bring both Christians and non-Christians together through our concert series at the Heart of the City Music Factory in Anoka - featuring ethnically and stylistically diverse concerts by local and national artists.

Here’s What Your Funds Support When You Donate to Heart of the City Ministries:

A talented, multi-ethnic band modeling Biblical unity and sharing the Gospel in an age of terrible racial and cultural division, recordings that serve as outreach tools to non-Christians and Christians, and a Music Venue that hosts high quality, family friendly concerts to encourage Christians, reach out into the community and help raise funds for the rest of the ministry. For 28 years, we’ve been bringing a message, model and experience of multi-ethnic worship and Biblical unity to Christians and the Gospel to unbelievers. This has only been possible by the grace of God and through the generous support of people like you.

This Give to the Max Day, we're setting a goal of raising $17,000.00 by year end! Here is what we are raising these funds for:

-To be able to give away another 1,000 We Speak Life Native American outreach CD's totaling: $3,800.00

-To fund outreach concerts to Reservations and other settings that aren't fully funded by honorariums totaling: $3,200.00.

-To fund Music Factory concerts that aren't fully funded by ticket sales totaling: $3,000.00

-To fund increased operational costs for staffing, insurance and licensing fees totaling: $7,000.00
