HEADWATERS RELIEF ORGANIZATION

Bringing Hope

Building Resiliency

This Give to the Max Day, Headwaters is raising funds for our programs that address the most challenging issues of our time: racial and gender inequality, poverty, and the ramifications of natural disasters. 100% of your donation goes directly to support the programming in the communities we serve.

  • Support our disaster relief efforts. This year, severe flooding in Southern Minnesota and hurricanes—Debby, Helene, and Milton—have caused significant devastation. Our teams have been incredibly active in response in Florida. We help homeowners by removing damaged belongings from their homes, clearing out moldy sheetrock, carpet, and flooring, and conducting mold remediation. The individuals we assist often feel overwhelmed by the loss of their belongings and damage to their homes. They are grateful for Headwaters’ support, as our volunteer services help them avoid additional expenses during such challenging times.
  • Headwaters’ support in Haiti is more critical than ever after a terrible year of political and environmental disasters. Haiti needs support for food, education, and public health initiatives.
  • Our Asha educational campaign supports girls in Nepal and India to develop a healthy self-image and positive self-esteem. The doll is a tool in a larger educational campaign that supports girls staying in school and having more choices in life.
  • Trafficking is a global problem. Headwaters’ focus is on teaching preventative strategies as well as promoting cultural change so that victims of trafficking are supported not ostracized.

Headwaters Relief Organization provides disaster relief locally, nationally, and internationally. Our services include:

  • Public Health
  • Psychosocial support
  • Medical
  • Debris clean-up
  • Re-building ( in partnership with others)

Headwaters seeks to inspire passion to serve others. We forge connections between volunteers, the Headwaters team, those who are being served and the community. We work to ensure that every volunteer, regardless of age, background, skills, and experience, feels valued and motivated to continue to serve others.

We are inspired and grateful for the contributions our donors and volunteers make to help us reach those who need it most.

100 % of all donations go to those we serve.
