Happy Tails Rescue (HTR) moved last year. This year was spent finishing all the renovations in the building. We had our Grand Opening in August and were excited to share our finished space with the community. 

The most exciting news of this year is that we opened Happy Tails Rescue Clinic. The clinic serves our rescue animals as well as animals in the community. Anyone can schedule a low cost spay & neuter. There are no income requirements. We believe everyone needs to have access to affordable medical services for their pets. Our clinic has altered hundreds of community pets already!

Our new space provides an opportunity to help many more animals, in a variety of ways.

The building consists of; cat housing area, dog housing area, puppy housing area, maternity ward, indoor play area, two outdoor play areas, multiple meet and greet rooms, multiple quarantine areas, a full-service clinic, a dog training area, exotic animal area, event area, ALL indoor animal intake area, grooming area, separate ventilation for different areas, and much more!

Cody's Heroes is Happy Tails program to give back to veterans! It is a Military Veteran Emotional Support Animal (ESA) program! This program is designed to support our Military Veterans and their emotional needs, as well as our animals in finding a great forever home. This program will be free of charge to our Veterans to include the support dog from Happy Tails. 

Cody's Hero's is over seen by an Iraq war vet and purple heart recipient. 

Some dogs are born with the natural ability to be support animals and we want to pair these dogs with veterans that can benefit from the support of a dog. Being an animal rescue gives us access to many different dogs. Our team works with approved veterans to carefully select the best fit from a handful of potential candidates.

Happy Tails relies on donations to fund our programs.  Donations we receive today will go towards the new adoption center.  Supplying training, medical care, running educational programs, and feeding over 2,000 animals relies on generous donations from amazing individuals.
