Habitat for Humanity Martin-Faribault Counties

Habitat for Humanity of Martin Faribault Counties has been serving low-income families since our inception in 1999.  This year we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary!!  It's been a year of high hopes, as we have so many projects underway right now, with more planned for next year.  Underway we have a rehab that the Fairmont High School students have been working on, and that house will be moved to a lot in Fairmont.  At 505 E. 21st Street in Blue Earth the rehab project is coming along nicely, with volunteers busily painting walls and ceilings.  In Wells, we are busy working at 390 1st Ave. SW, on a house that we moved there last summer.  These three homes were projects to be done this year, but God had other plans for us.  

For the last three years, we have relief on USDA's Rural Development department to fund our home projects, which has allowed us to increase our building capacity.  In April, with no advance warning, the Rural Development program was cut by 3/4, leaving us, and all other Habitat affiliates across the country, in dire financial straits.  At this point, we do not have the cash to complete any of the three houses that are under construction.  

Looking ahead to 2025, we will, God willing, be moving a house to Truman from rural Lewisville.  This will be a first for us since we do not have any homes in Truman.  Another first for next year will be another school partnership with Martin County West. We will be moving a house from rural Fairmont to Sherburn for the students to rehab during the school year.  In the fall of 2025, the Fairmont High School students will begin a new home build for us, and we also have a rehab to tackle at 612 S. Main Street in Blue Earth.  

With all of these houses, and all of the families who are patiently waiting for them, your financial help is needed now more than ever.  Any contribution, large or small, all adds up and will be used for the projects listed.  100% of your donation is used for construction.
